Vertical Dirigible - School Project ACCD 1995 - Physical 3D model

This was a design project done by myself and my partner Erik Reiter. Over two terms we developed this large 3D model. The original design was based on Eriks work from a previous term. The piece was displayed inside ACCD's student Gallery, sent to a design show in New York and featured in the ACCD Catalog and Popular Mechanics magazine. The model had some articulation of control surfaces and was lit with LED lights. A diorama was built including a cantilevered cliffside docking facility. Unfortunately the model was destroyed and these images are all that remains
