BoatRide " Smallworld style " - ITEC

I have been a concept artist for Themed Entertainemnt projects for over 20 years now. It’s not really the same as concept art for film or video games although there is some overlap. Main difference I could point out is that it’s less flash more substance. Unlike a movie or video game the designs done for a themed environment are all meant to be practical elements. They don’t have to perform the same way an actual product/industrial/architectural design in the real world but they do have to exist in a physical space and be functional and safe while simultaneously telling the story and standing up the constant abuse of thousands of curious guest for years…

In other words it has to feel / be real, It has to solve a problem or serve a purpose...

This is just a smattering of that work, Some of its for projects that were realized and some of its for those projects that we have all worked on that will never see the light of day... None of this should be in violation of copywrite but of course if it is please contact me and I will remove it

I use any and all techniques and media to produce the work from a pencil on vellum to a 3d rendered model whatever the needs of the project are.
