This is my first real large scale world building project using Blender. Ive been messing with it since Covid and am finally getting to a point I feel I can use. This design started out with me following a tutorial for hard surface by the Blender Bros which evolved into this sci fi scene of a space port working zone. I would highly suggest them as a source for good learning tools. https://www.blenderbros.com/accelerator

This is part of a large personal development piece I am working on called the Empire of Mann. I do this sort of thing when not a paying job to develop new skill sets ad showcase work outside my project work.

With few exceptions, " the characters being one although Im working on that " everything in this scene was produced by me, using Sketchup Blender, Rhino and Plasticity, rendered in Blender. Ive still got a long way go with the program but its an amazing tool with so much potential for story telling...

Obviously these renders were treated to a lot of post process in PS, I dont really enjoyed the photo realistic 3D look so I always try to make my digital work regardless of teh tools used feel more like a painting...

I love the idea of world building as it directly relates to my project work and Im hoping to start adding some cinematic animation in the near future.
